EBBQ’s Sizzlin’ Artist For June ’17 – G Perico

In a time where west coast hip-hop started to sound more pop, G Perico is who the west needs right now. The South Central LA native got the sound, the look, and the reputation to even consider himself a G, as an active member of the Broadway Gangsta Crips (BGC). You can even catch him styling with the old school Jheri Curls like the gangsta rap icons Ice Cube and the late Eazy-E. After growing a solid fan base and dropping his highly anticipated project All Blue, it’s safe to say G Perico is the future of west coast hip-hop.

“All Blue” (Video)

The video above is for G Perico’s title track “All Blue, a song about how he lives every day as a crip and viewing the world in his own hue. Staying true to himself and gang culture “All Blue” is one of the most authentic tracks I’ve heard so far this year.

“Turnin Corners” (Video)

The Poly Boy produced track “Turnin Corners” is the latest single from All Blue, once again G keeps it fly over an authentic west coast beat. Rapping “Turnin’ corners through the ghetto bust a left, right, we flyin’ straight through the red light when you see my in the city I’m lookin’ good my nigga ’cause I been gettin’ it.” A little game from the South Central rapper, check out the video above.
